Embodied Relational Therapy

Baby's Clutch

“All our inner life and intimacy of soul longs to find an outer mirror. It longs for a form in which it can be

seen, felt, and touched.

The body is the mirror where the secret world of the soul

comes to expression.

The body is a sacred threshold;

and it deserves to be respected, minded,

and understood in its spiritual nature.”

John O'Donohue

BREATHING

I may ask you to pay attention to your breathing, your posture and sensations felt in your body.

STORY-TELLING

I might suggest we experiment with playing different roles, or re-telling your narratives with new and different endings.

RELATING

We might talk about what is happening in the dynamic between us, to see if it feels familiar or if you see any patterns emerging.

EXPLORING

I might suggest we work outdoors in Nature, regarding the living environment around us as an active and pertinent guide.
